Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Rahul Gandhi met with top comrades in Delhi today for three hours, where they generally discussed plans for the major struggle in 2024.

A declaration by a Congress official that the party has instructed its leaders to prepare for a campaign in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi next year has sparked a feud with the Aam Aadmi Party, a member of the newly formed opposition coalition INDIA.

We've been instructed how to be ready for the 2024 election. Prior to the Delhi summit, the leadership visited with our people in 18 states. "It has been decided that all Congress leaders will immediately go to work on the seven seats in Delhi to win them," Ms Lamba told news agency ANI. "There are seven months left." "All party workers have been asked to prepare for all seven seats," she continued.

Soon after, Deepak Babaria, the Congress's in-charge of Delhi, stepped in to clarify when the AAP expressed "surprise" and questioned the necessity for the INDIA bloc if parties were to go alone.

Mr Babaria stated that the statement was made by the leader (Ms Lamba), and that no proposal for seat-sharing was addressed during the meeting. "That was not discussed at today's meeting." "We talked about how to strengthen the party in Delhi," Mr Babaria explained.

"The statement by the Congress leader is very surprising." What is the basis for the INDIA alliance after such statements? Arvind Kejriwal ji must determine what to do next in the best interests of the country. "A decision must be made," said AAP leader Vinay Mishra to NDTV.

AAP leader and Delhi minister Saurabh Bhardwaj stated that no seat-sharing agreement for the national election next year is known at this time.

When all of the INDIA bloc's parties meet to discuss seat-sharing, the national leadership of all of the parties will reach an accord. Nothing is certain till that time. "This is all a long way off," Mr Bhardwaj remarked.
