West Indies win consecutive T20Is for the first time against India

The West Indies were clearly the better team, although they let things slide towards the end and had to hold on to win. It took a fantastic effort from Tilak, a useful contribution from Hardik, and a crucial knock from Bishnoi at the finish for India to reach 150, a difficult total. India took the lead as Hardik Pandya got two in his opening over. Mayers was quickly defeated, but Pooran launched an impressive counterattack.

Pooran's squad was constantly ahead in hits to the fence, and 18 came off the last powerplay over. West Indies were cruising until Pooran was dismissed, resulting in a stunning collapse in which West Indies lost four wickets for three runs in 13 balls. To prevent India from tying the series, Akeal and Alzarri withstood pressure and stitched an unbroken 26-run partnership for the ninth wicket.

Pooran and Hetmyer, both on fire, gallop towards the 153-point mark.

Pooran has single-handedly pushed West Indies ahead in terms of runs. Hardik Pandya hit two in the first over.Arshdeep trapped Mayers, but Pooran counterattacked. Had they reviewed, Bishnoi would have had Powell LBW, but Hardik has came back to grab him and his third wicket. It's still the West Indies' game to lose! The asking rate is just 6.3

Despite several wickets, Pooran's blazing fifty drives WI towards the goal.

Mayers given out lbw: But he decides to review. There was an inner edge, right? Nope. On the UltraEdge, remain flat. hit decision made by the umpire. Gone.

Pooran given out lbw . Review of the West Indies: No bats are involved. The UltraEdge also has nothing. The ball is off stump, according to ball tracking. The on-field judgement and the umpire's ruling on impact must be revised. Not eliminated.

A double-wicket over from the skipper.

Mayers and Brandon King are standing at the crease. It's a strike for Brandon King. Attack will be launched by Hardik Pandya.

India did well to finish over 150, which is a good result. After losing momentum for the duration of the first portion, they scored 67 off the final 7 overs. Gill lost the battle early once more, and Surya was wonderfully ran out by Mayers. On such a slow pitch, not even Ishan Kishan could ignite the crowd. India did not advance till Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya teamed up.

Tilak reached his first fifty in international cricket, and Hardik's brief effort included a few sixes to give the innings a late boost. The West Indies bowlers, who had things under control for the most part with the wickets of Joseph, Hosein, and Shepherd, didn't quite have the perfect ending. We'll return soon to begin the hunt.

At the crease are Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan. In a strike, Ishan Kishan.

India won the toss and decided to bat after Obed McCoy opened the assault.
