Highest partnerships for India in T20Is

India has carried off the most successful chase on this venue, and they have done so with ease. Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal completely controlled the proceedings, revealing nothing. Gill was out for 77, but India had already secured victory, and Jaiswal went on to finish undefeated on 84 in only his second T20I.

The record-breaking 165-run partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal (84*) and Shubhman Gill (77) levelled India's ongoing five-match T20I series versus West Indies with a dominant 9-wicket win in Florida, setting up a Sunday finale. The openers put up India's joint greatest opening stand, helping them reach the 179-run mark with three overs and nine wickets to spare.

Jaiswal set the tone early on, scoring a boundary off the opening ball of the chase. Scored ten runs off the first over, three fours off a Holder over, and back-to-back boundaries off Shepherd. Gill, on the other hand, was cautious at first but quickly made up for it and India easily chased down 178,

India scored 66 runs, hit many boundaries, and did not lose a wicket during the powerplay. The openers proceeded to score quickly and reached a century partnership in the tenth over. Gill notched up a fifty after three successive single-digit scores and Jaiswal raised his maiden T20I fifty in the same over.

West Indies appeared helpless in the face of the assault. The 165-run opening partnership ended when Gill holed out to deep midwicket, but the wicket came too late for the Windies. India won the match with 18 balls.

India gains control with a century opening stand.

India's pursuit gets off to a fast start thanks to their openers.

Shai Hope, who was playing in his debut game of the series, kept the innings together with a 29-ball 45 after Mayers got them started to a little bit of a flyer. However, Shimron Hetmyer's 39-ball 61 was the deciding factor. The southpaw was aggressive, taking on Axar and the pacers while being respectful of the two specialist spinners because to his lack of runs and form heading into the game. The hosts were down to 123 for 7 at one point due to constant wicket loss at the other end, but Hetmyer and Odean Smith scored 44 runs for the eighth wicket to put them in a commanding position. Arshdeep Singh grabbed three wickets, Kuldeep was spectacular with his two, and  rest went for runs.

To Holder, Bowled Mukesh Kumar! The Indians are making inroads, but Holder will feel a little unfortunate since the ball was full and kept going back into the right-hander. Holder stayed leg-side and then opened up on the drive, getting an inside edge into the pad and having the ball bounce back to rattle the stumps. Holder b Mukesh Kumar 3(4)

Samson out-caught Axar as he went to the Shepherd. Shepherd loses control and makes a nothing shot, which results in six and OUT.

Chahal crashes Hope-Hetmyer

To put the hosts back on their heels, Arshdeep struck twice on the powerplay and Kuldeep hit twice in his first over immediately following it. Although Hope is in good shape, she needs assistance from the other side. Some Windies hitters have lost wickets in an effort to take advantage of the favourable batting surface.

After choosing to bat, WI loses two wickets to Arshdeep and Kuldeep

Kuldeep dives to his left at short third man and takes a nice catch. Brandon King c Kuldeep Yadav b Arshdeep Singh 18(16) [6s-2]

Arshdeep Singh to Mayers, out Caught by Samson!! Arshdeep Singh has the last laugh! He strikes with a beauty! 135kph shortish ball on off, hits the deck and bounces a bit extra, Mayers is rushed by it as he arches back and tries to ramp it over the keeper but he only manages to edge it behind. Samson leaps and takes a sharp catch with his fingers pointing upwards. Mayers c Samson b Arshdeep Singh 17(7) [4s-2 6s-1]
